Housing
Since there is typically a long waiting list for rent geared to income housing you should fill out an application as soon as possible – wait times can be as long as 7 years for some units. You can expect to pay 30% of your income in a rent geared to income apartment. Affordable apartments are approximately 20% less than the average rent for a similar unit.
