With help from community, Extend-A-Family Kingston can offer individuals with disabilities and their families access to regional services, respite, and programs that give them the opportunity to work on personal growth and make steps towards achieving their life goals.

Ontario Trillium Foundation

Extend-A-Family Kingston is a recipient of the 2023 Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund. With the help from OTF and a $95,200 Resilient Communities Fund grant over 12 months, we have been able to build resiliency from impacts of COVID-19 by hiring a program developer to create new programs and expand adapted programs that provide family respite and support individuals with disabilities relating to adaptive technology and sports, gardening and much more!
