When Sensei Denny was a kid, he was the youngest kid in his class, but always had an interest in martial arts and anything physical and sports related. He started his martial arts training and reached his first black belt in 1978. Since then, Sensei Denny has had a long teaching career in martial arts that has spanned over 45 yers. He has trained with some of the best instructors in Japan and has done training and competition in the US and Canada. His favorite part of teaching karate is the camaraderie and family attitude that martial arts provided. He seeks to teach kind, compassionate, and caring people and wants to see students succeed, find their strengths, and bring out the best of people!

Sensei Bob sears

3rd Dan Black Belt in Kempo and 3rd Dan Black Belt in Gojuryu

Sensei Bob started karate when he was a kid and achieved his first black belt in 1992. Immediately after, he began teaching martial arts and in 2001 opened and taught in his own dojo at Richmond Martial Arts. Sensei Bob has taught various martial arts for over 30 years to students 6 years old all the way to students 80 and over! He also has taught self defence techniques and classes in schools. Sensei Bob loves the enjoyment that his students have as they enhance the physical fitness, improve self-discipline, and the general supportive atmosphere that his classes create. To him, martial arts is a community and family activity where he can help students progress, reach their goals, and continue on a path of self improvement no matter their abilities!
