Dr. Carolyn Whitzman is a housing and social policy researcher. Currently, she works as a senior housing researcher at University of Toronto’s School of Cities, analysing best practices to scale affordable ‘missing middle’, modular, and replicable housing. Dr. Whitzman will be speaking on the need for deeply affordable, well-located accessible housing - what has worked in the past in Canada, what is working now, and what we can learn internationally.
